In trying to somehow grasp the concept of Unity with my human brain, I decided to flat out ask Spirit or God the definition of itself. The answers started as seemingly simplistic, but then unfolded into an interesting dialog. I've read spiritual literature pointing to this topic, but I wanted to see what I'd get for fun.

• What is God and Divinity?
-Being. Being present to all that is. Now. Present. Unity. All. Inseparable whole. Beyond intelligence. You. Everyone and everything as the center.

• Who is God?
-Everyone and everything.

• Why?
-Because there's no thing outside of God. That's the unity aspect. Like your organs beautifully working for one body. Each cell being a galaxy, each light particle being a star.

• Did God create itself and if yes, when did God create itself?
-No. There was no creation time for God. God is eternity unfolding, yet there was no start to the unfoldment process, and there will be no end. In a way, there's also no "now." "Now" can be perceived in lower density, but try to actually catch that "now," to measure it. It actually doesn't exist. Your mind creates "now" from remembering the past and anticipating the future. It all exists in your perception. That's why some say it's an "illusion." Try the word "perception."

• Why did you create us humans?
-You are but an infinite variation upon consciousness in matter, embodied in your density level and segment of your universe. Your species are a product of evolution, trial and error of universal infinite capacity to differentiate into playfullness of the artforms that do well in earth's conditions. There is no reason except that you are a division of infinite divine creativity exhibiting and creating yourself.

• Trial and error?
-Duality explores both extremes to move toward what proves to be most harmonious.

• Haven't "You" experimented infinitely enough to see that we're pretty dysfunctional and have almost destroyed our home planet? Our bodies are extremely delicate, minds darkened, disconnected from knowing who we are on a spirit level.
-Nope, everything is always brand new, unfolding in new patterns of infinite possibilities. There are some basic rules and cycles in density, but even those change over time based your your communal and individual perception of these "rules." You are now victims of your own rules. I'm not trying to understand myself, you're trying to understand yourselves. I am not an external consciousness. You are THE consciousness. At least you are all hardwired into it but don't always tune in. Your world is at YOUR command.
